How fast does Alma respond on a phone call?
Sub-second on a typical call. Alma is built on streaming voice models (Cartesia / Deepgram pipeline) tuned for real-time conversation, with a target round-trip latency of about 600 milliseconds — short enough that callers don't notice the AI pause and complete the next sentence themselves.
What channels does Alma run on?
Phone, WhatsApp, SMS, and the chat widget on your site. One Alma, one shared memory per buyer — if a lead calls in the morning and texts in the afternoon, Alma picks up the conversation thread without the agent having to bridge anything.
Does Alma handle Spanish?
Yes — Spanish + English are first-class, mid-conversation switch supported. Buyers can call in English, switch to Spanish when they get more comfortable, and Alma follows along. We launched in two markets (Costa Rica + southern California) on purpose so the bilingual handling was production-tested from day one.
Can Alma actually book showings, or does she just qualify the lead?
She books. Alma checks your live calendar, picks a slot that fits the agent's availability and travel windows, confirms with the buyer, and pushes the event to your calendar with the listing details attached. If she needs to coordinate with a listing agent, she'll send the request and notify you when it's confirmed.
Does Alma write CMAs, offers, and disclosures?
Yes. Drop a property address — Alma pulls comps from the MLS and produces a seller-ready CMA in about 90 seconds. From the verbal terms of an offer call, Alma drafts the offer with the right state forms attached, runs the compliance checklist, and sends to e-signature on the agent's approval.
Does Alma replace the agent's personal voice with clients?
No, by design. Alma writes in the agent's tone (trained from a 15-minute onboarding conversation) and stops the moment a buyer is close to writing — at which point she summarizes everything she heard and tags the agent in. The warm conversation belongs to the human; that's the work an agent gets paid for.
Do my buyers know they're talking to an AI?
It depends on the configuration. By default, Alma identifies herself as the agent's assistant if asked directly ("is this a real person?"), and the agent can configure whether the system plays a recording disclosure at the start of every call — required in two-party-consent states. The platform helps you stay compliant with whatever the local rules require.
How long does it take to get Alma live on my number?
Same day in most cases. Connecting your MLS / IDX feed takes about an hour. Training Alma on your voice takes about fifteen minutes (you talk to her, she picks up your tone). Pointing your existing agent number at the platform via Twilio or your existing carrier is the slowest step and usually completes inside 24 hours.
